A Note From Phil and Brent:

You've heard it before: “No-code tools are great for demos and prototypes. But, can they be trusted at scale, where it really matters?” After witnessing countless operations professionals (including ourselves) build workflows, apps, and automations to solve mission-critical problems, all without writing a line of code, we are continuously inspired by the potential of this movement.

We launched NoCodeOps in 2021 with a clear mission: Give no-coders at companies the same support and credit we saw the no-code community give startup founders. Together we created a platform, community, and resources to help builders use these tools at scales. No-code tools have been instrumental in shaping our careers, and we want more people to have the same opportunity.

Zapier was the automation platform that introduced both of us to the world of no-code. No one forgets the incredible feeling of seeing their first Zap work – it's magic. The more Zapier and other no-code products gain adoption in the enterprise, the more people will have the opportunity to create better solutions for their companies, customers, and communities.

Today, we are thrilled to announce that NoCodeOps is joining Zapier! This acquisition represents an exciting new chapter for our company and community.

Why Zapier?

With a mission to make automation work for everyone, Zapier sees immense potential in NoCodeOps. By joining forces, we can accelerate the development of Zapier's recently launched Enterprise Tier and expand the reach of no-code solutions at larger companies. We will leverage everything we’ve learned to shape industry standards while benefiting all no-coders.

What Changes Can You Expect?

• Team Integration: Several of our team members will be joining Zapier.
• Community Transition: Zapier will take over ownership of the NoCodeOps Community. Claudia is staying on as the Community Manager to ensure a smooth transition and will have more exciting developments to share shortly.
• Product Sunset: Operator will wind down as part of this transition. However, the expertise gained from building and refining Operator will be leveraged to accelerate Zapier's Enterprise Tier observability efforts.
• Other Initiatives: Stay tuned for updates regarding our newsletter, conference, job board, and academy as we navigate this transition.

Looking Ahead

We are excited to continue our journey with Zapier and further the mission of making automation work for everyone. The NoCodeOps community will have even more resources to further support Ops professionals and advocate for no-code operations as a new career path. We will have more to share in the coming months, and we look forward to celebrating this milestone with all of you.
